Crazy Japanese Tutorial on Hassle Free Potato Peeling

If you don’t speak Japanese you should probably turn down your sound on this one. Here’s a general translation of what’s shown. . . First, take a knife and cut through the skin of the potato (cutting around the mid point). Boil your potatoes. Then, toss the potatoes in an ice bath for around 10 or 15 seconds. Then carefully pull the skin apart as shown in the video. With any luck, the two halves of skin will slide right off. This is a million times faster than peeling potatoes by hand.
