Paint Can Tips – No More Messy Cans
From our Paint Can Tips series – After using paint from a gallon paint can, the lid often gets glued into place from the excess paint that falls into the groove around the top of the can. When you first open a can of paint, poke a hole in the groove using a standard flat head screwdriver to allow the excess paint to drain back into the can.
Improvised Measuring Tape Notepad
Stick masking tape on the side of your measuring tape to write down measurements so you don’t forget.
Prevent Drill Tear Out
When you drill all the way through a piece of wood, the side the bit goes through is smooth and clean but when the drill bit comes out of the back, it tears and splinters the wood. Prevent drill tear out by placing a piece of sacrificial wood behind the bit as it exits the material.
